Thermotech 302-EPM-194 Explosion-Proof Heat Detector

Thermotech 302-EPM-194

An Explosion-proof detector for installation in hazardous locations. They have hexagonal grip bushing with 1/2’ conduit threads. For attachment to threaded hub cover of series JL fixture fitting as manufactured by Killark Electric Co., or equal.

These rate compensation type detectors a re available in either 135° F. or 194° F. ratings. All four basic models a re self-restoring, hermetically sealed, shock and corrosion-resistant, and tamper-proof. The detector consists, of a high-expansion aluminum tube. That encases two insulation struts with opposing open constant points. This item i s not affected by how – mounted. The Explosion-proof Heat Detector can b e installed vertically or horizontally.
