System sensor SS-PHOTO-R. Photoelectric Smoke Sensor

System Sensor SS-PHOTO-R Intelligent Photoelectric Smoke Sensor with Remote Test Capability in Duct Applications – Key Specifications

The System Sensor SS-PHOTO-R is an intelligent photoelectric smoke sensor designed specifically for duct applications. It provides reliable smoke detection and includes a remote testing capability, which allows users to test the sensor without opening the ductwork. As a result, this feature makes it ideal for HVAC systems and ventilation ducts, where early smoke detection plays a critical role in fire warning and protection.

Key Features and Specifications:

• Photoelectric Smoke Detection: The SS-PHOTO-R uses light-scattering technology to detect smoke particles. This method is particularly effective in identifying smoldering fires, which produce significant smoke with minimal heat.
• Remote Test Functionality: You can test the device remotely, eliminating the need for direct access to the duct. Therefore, this feature simplifies maintenance and ensures the sensor remains functional in hard-to-reach areas.
• Duct Compatibility: Specifically designed for HVAC systems and ventilation ducts, the SS-PHOTO-R fits where traditional smoke detectors may not function effectively.
• Intelligent Sensing: The device adjusts to environmental changes, optimizing its smoke sensitivity. Consequently, it reduces false alarms and ensures accurate detection, even in ducts with airflow.
• Low Power Consumption: The SS-PHOTO-R operates efficiently, which makes it a great option for energy-conscious installations.
• Built-in Diagnostics: The sensor continuously monitors its performance. If maintenance is required, the device alerts users, ensuring reliable operation over time.
• Easy Installation: Thanks to its flexible mounting options, the SS-PHOTO-R is simple to install in various duct configurations, saving time during setup.

Applications:

The System Sensor SS-PHOTO-R is ideal for environments where smoke detection in ducts is necessary. These include:

• Commercial HVAC Systems: The SS-PHOTO-R is perfect for office buildings, shopping malls, and other commercial properties, where monitoring air ducts for smoke is crucial.
• Industrial Facilities: In manufacturing plants and warehouses, the sensor helps detect smoke early in ventilation systems, preventing the spread of fire.
• Hospitals and Healthcare Facilities: Detecting smoke in HVAC systems is vital for ensuring safety and minimizing risk in these sensitive environments.
• Large Residential Systems: Homes or multi-unit buildings with complex HVAC systems need reliable smoke detection in ducts to protect occupants from fire.
