System Sensor SPCW Ceiling Speaker White

The System Sensor SPCW Ceiling Speaker is a high-performance ceiling-mounted speaker designed for voice evacuation and emergency communication systems. As part of the SpectrAlert Advance® Series, the System Sensor SPCW delivers clear, intelligible emergency voice messages while maintaining a clean, low-profile appearance that complements modern commercial interiors. Therefore, it is an ideal solution for offices, schools, hospitals, hotels, and other facilities requiring dependable voice evacuation notification.

System Sensor SPCW Function

The System Sensor SPCW is engineered to broadcast emergency voice messages and evacuation instructions during fire alarm events. As a result, occupants receive clear, understandable instructions that support safe and orderly evacuation. In addition, the speaker integrates seamlessly with compatible voice evacuation amplifiers operating on 25 VRMS or 70.7 VRMS audio circuits.

High-Fidelity Voice Performance

The SPCW incorporates a high-efficiency speaker designed to maximize speech intelligibility throughout commercial facilities. Consequently, emergency announcements remain clear even in acoustically challenging environments. Moreover, the speaker meets UL 1480 requirements for fire protective signaling systems, making it suitable for critical life safety applications.

Field-Selectable Audio Settings

The System Sensor SPCW supports both 25V and 70.7V speaker circuits with field-selectable wattage taps ranging from ¼ watt to 2 watts. Therefore, installers can easily configure audio output to match room acoustics and system design requirements. Furthermore, the selectable tap settings simplify inventory management by allowing one speaker model to support multiple installation scenarios.

Ceiling-Mount Low-Profile Design

The SpectrAlert Advance ceiling speaker features a low-profile housing that blends into finished ceilings while providing wide sound distribution. As a result, the speaker provides excellent audio coverage without compromising the building’s appearance. Additionally, optional trim rings and surface-mount back boxes allow flexible installation in both new construction and retrofit projects.

Easy Installation

The SPCW utilizes a universal mounting plate that allows field wiring to be completed before the speaker is installed. Consequently, installation time is reduced while minimizing wiring errors and simplifying future maintenance. The plug-in design also makes servicing faster by allowing the speaker to be removed without disturbing field wiring.
