System Sensor SBBSPR. Indoor Back Box.

System Sensor SBBSPR Indoor Back Box

The System Sensor SBBSPR Indoor Back Box provides secure, surface-mount installation support for select System Sensor notification appliances. Designed for indoor use, this red steel back box ensures proper alignment and reliable mounting for wall-mounted horns, strobes, and speaker-strobes.

Because it offers a strong and consistent foundation, the SBBSPR helps maintain the safety, appearance, and functionality of the fire alarm system throughout the building’s life cycle.

Designed for Compatibility and Secure Mounting

The SBBSPR back box is specifically engineered for use with System Sensor SpectrAlert Advance and L-Series devices. Its dimensions and pre-drilled mounting holes match the layout of compatible appliances, which eliminates the need for modification or additional hardware.

Additionally, the box provides a solid surface mount option when recessed mounting is not possible. This allows fire protection systems to maintain code compliance even in retrofit scenarios or environments with concrete or solid walls.

Durable Construction for Long-Term Reliability

Constructed from high-quality steel and finished in red, the SBBSPR ensures visibility while offering protection against impact, tampering, and wear. Its rugged design supports long-term use in high-traffic or commercial indoor spaces.

Installers can route wiring easily through the integrated knockouts, which are positioned to allow straightforward conduit entry and cable management. This improves installation efficiency and minimizes the risk of wire damage or system disruption.

Ideal for Schools, Offices, and Commercial Facilities

The SBBSPR indoor back box works well in educational buildings, healthcare facilities, office complexes, and retail environments. It supports clean and consistent mounting of notification appliances on walls where in-wall wiring or flush mounting isn’t practical. By creating a smooth transition between electrical infrastructure and visual notification appliances it improves both system performance and visual presentation.

The System Sensor SBBSPR Indoor Back Box offers a dependable solution for surface-mounting fire alarm notification devices in indoor environments. With its sturdy steel construction, compatibility with System Sensor devices, and user-friendly design, it simplifies installation while maintaining code compliance. For projects that require professional mounting of horns, strobes, or speaker-strobes, the SBBSPR delivers a clean and reliable foundation.
