System Sensor SBBCR Ceiling, Back Box, Red

System Sensor SBBCR Ceiling Mount Surface Mount Back Box, Red

The System Sensor SBBCR Ceiling Mount Surface Mount Back Box, Red provides a secure and code-compliant mounting solution for fire alarm devices in ceiling applications. Designed for use with System Sensor’s L-Series and SpectrAlert Advance notification appliances, this back box allows safe surface mounting when recessed wiring is not an option.

Its red color enhances device visibility and supports system compliance with fire safety standards across a wide range of commercial and institutional facilities.

Designed for System Sensor Compatibility

The SBBCR is engineered to match the mounting footprint of compatible System Sensor devices. It works seamlessly with ceiling-mounted strobes, horn/strobes, and speaker/strobes, helping to maintain consistent alignment and simplify the installation process.

Because the box includes pre-drilled holes and built-in conduit knockouts, it offers excellent flexibility for wiring in both new construction and retrofit applications. Installers can complete secure and clean connections without field modification.

Rugged Construction for Reliable Support

Manufactured from heavy-duty steel, the SBBCR resists impact and provides long-term structural support for mounted appliances. It protects wire junctions and terminations while maintaining the mechanical integrity of the system.

Its durable red finish complements most standard fire alarm devices and makes the enclosure highly visible in emergencies. The finish also resists scratches and wear, ensuring the box continues to meet aesthetic and safety expectations over time.

Ideal for Surface-Mounted Fire Alarm Installations

This back box is the right choice for ceiling applications where in-ceiling wiring isn’t practical or allowed. Whether in warehouses, classrooms, or commercial buildings, the SBBCR provides a professional solution that supports reliable alarm operation.

Furthermore, it allows for consistent placement of devices in exposed or concrete ceiling environments without compromising system performance or design.

The System Sensor SBBCR Ceiling Mount Surface Mount Back Box, Red offers dependable and easy-to-install support for System Sensor fire alarm appliances. Its compatibility, strength, and surface-mount flexibility make it ideal for professional fire alarm installations. For ceiling-mounted devices that require a rugged and visible enclosure, the SBBCR delivers both performance and peace of mind.
