System Sensor PC2WLED-BP10 Ceiling Horn Strobe (Pack of 10)

The System Sensor PC2WLED-BP10 is a bulk package containing ten PC2WLED ceiling-mounted LED horn strobes designed for indoor fire alarm notification applications. As part of the System Sensor L-Series LED notification appliance family, the PC2WLED-BP10 provides dependable audible and visual signaling while reducing power consumption through advanced LED technology. Therefore, it is an ideal solution for large commercial, educational, healthcare, and industrial fire alarm installations.

System Sensor PC2WLED-BP10 Function

The PC2WLED horn strobe combines a high-output audible horn with a bright LED visual strobe in a single ceiling-mounted appliance. As a result, occupants receive both audible and visual notification during fire alarm events. In addition, the appliance is designed to support modern notification appliance circuit (NAC) requirements while minimizing power supply demands.

Advanced LED Notification Technology

The System Sensor PC2WLED utilizes energy-efficient LED strobe technology that significantly reduces current draw compared to traditional xenon strobe designs. Consequently, fire alarm system designers can increase circuit capacity, reduce power supply requirements, and simplify overall system design. Furthermore, lower power consumption can help reduce installation and operating costs.

Ceiling-Mounted Audible and Visual Notification

The PC2WLED is specifically designed for ceiling-mounted applications. Therefore, it provides effective sound distribution and visual coverage throughout protected areas. Additionally, ceiling mounting helps improve notification effectiveness in open spaces, corridors, classrooms, conference rooms, and other commercial environments.

Selectable Candela Settings

The System Sensor PC2WLED features field-selectable candela settings that allow installers to adjust light output to meet application requirements. Consequently, a single model can support a variety of room sizes and occupancy conditions. Moreover, rotary selection switches simplify configuration during installation and maintenance.

Multiple Tone and Volume Options

The PC2WLED incorporates field-selectable tone and volume settings to accommodate different occupancy types and ambient noise levels. As a result, installers can optimize notification performance for offices, schools, healthcare facilities, and commercial buildings. Furthermore, the horn produces sound levels exceeding 88 dBA at 16 volts for effective occupant notification.

Simplified Installation Design

The System Sensor L-Series platform includes a universal mounting plate with onboard shorting springs that allow wiring continuity testing before device installation. Therefore, installation time is reduced and troubleshooting becomes easier. Additionally, the plug-in device design minimizes intrusion into the back box and helps prevent wiring errors.

Diagnostic Test Features

The PC2WLED includes Digital Voltage Meter (DVM) diagnostic test points that enable technicians to verify voltage levels without removing the appliance. Consequently, maintenance procedures are simplified and service time is reduced. Moreover, this feature enhances long-term system reliability and inspection efficiency.
