System Sensor LENS-B2 Colored Lens, Wall-Mount, Blue

The System Sensor LENS-B2 Colored Lens, Wall-Mount, Blue is an easy-to-install accessory for SpectrAlert Advance wall-mounted strobes. Designed for applications that require a blue visual signal, this lens enables quick adaptation of standard strobes for non-fire emergency alerts, mass notification, and special signaling purposes.

It helps organizations create visual differentiation in multi-alert systems while maintaining compatibility and performance.

Blue Visual Signaling for Specialized Alerts

Using colored lenses is a proven method for separating fire signals from other types of emergency alerts. The LENS-B2 produces a vibrant blue strobe flash that stands out clearly from traditional red or white lights. This makes it ideal for areas where visual notifications must indicate non-fire events, such as security threats, hazardous material warnings, or severe weather alerts.

As a result, it improves occupant response by helping people quickly identify the nature of the emergency.

Quick Installation and Customization

Technicians can easily replace the factory-installed clear lens with the LENS-B2 in the field. No special tools are required—just remove the existing lens and snap the new one into place. This process allows teams to repurpose standard devices for custom applications, reducing the need to purchase specialized equipment.

Additionally, switching lenses is a cost-effective solution that helps comply with building-specific signaling standards.

Durable and Consistent Performance

The LENS-B2 features high-impact plastic that resists UV fading and damage. Its design preserves the optical performance of the strobe, ensuring that candela output remains within specified ranges. Whether deployed in schools, hospitals, or industrial settings, the lens performs reliably and maintains clarity over time.

Its solid build quality also supports long-term use in both new and retrofit projects.

Conclusion

The System Sensor LENS-B2 Colored Lens, Wall-Mount, Blue offers a simple yet effective way to customize visual signaling in emergency communication systems. With its easy installation, durable materials, and support for non-fire alerts, it enhances safety communication without complicating device setup. This lens is a practical upgrade for facilities seeking color-coded alerting solutions across a wide range of environments.
