System Sensor LENS-AC2 Amber LED Ceiling Lens

The System Sensor LENS-AC2 Amber Lens is a ceiling-mount color lens attachment designed for compatible System Sensor L-Series notification appliances. The Amber Lens converts standard ceiling-mounted strobes into amber visual signaling devices used for mass notification, emergency communication, severe weather alerts, and other non-fire applications. Therefore, it provides a simple and cost-effective method for implementing differentiated emergency notification without replacing the entire appliance.

System Sensor LENS-AC2 Amber Lens Function

The Amber Lens attaches directly to compatible L-Series ceiling strobes. As a result, facilities can create color-coded emergency communication systems while utilizing existing notification appliances. In addition, the amber lens helps distinguish emergency communication events from traditional fire alarm notifications.

Amber Visual Notification

Amber visual signaling is commonly used for emergency communication systems, mass notification systems, severe weather alerts, hazardous material notifications, and security-related events. Consequently, occupants can quickly recognize the type of emergency being communicated. Moreover, amber notification helps support modern emergency communication strategies.

Compatible L-Series Ceiling Appliances

The LENS-AC2 is designed for use with compatible System Sensor L-Series ceiling-mount strobes, horn strobes, and speaker strobes that are not FIRE printed. Therefore, facilities can convert existing devices without replacing the entire notification appliance. Furthermore, the lens supports both indoor and outdoor-compatible applications depending on the underlying appliance.

Easy Field Installation

The Amber Lens includes a clear adhesive backing for quick field installation. As a result, technicians can install the lens without modifying wiring or replacing the notification appliance. Additionally, installation adds only approximately 0.125 inches (3.12 mm) to the appliance height.

Durable Construction

The lens is manufactured using durable optical-grade material designed to maintain color clarity and visibility over time. Consequently, it provides dependable performance in commercial, educational, healthcare, and government facilities. Moreover, the lens is designed to withstand demanding environmental conditions.
