System Sensor B200S-LF-WH Addressable Base

The System Sensor B200S-LF-WH Addressable Base is an intelligent low-frequency sounder base designed for compatible System Sensor addressable smoke detectors. Engineered to meet NFPA 72 sleeping area requirements, the produces a 520 Hz low-frequency audible signal, which has been shown to provide superior occupant awakening performance during fire emergencies. Therefore, it combines addressable smoke detection with integrated audible notification in a single, space-saving device for commercial and residential life safety applications.

System Sensor B200S-LF-WH Function

The System Sensor B200S-LF-WH serves as both a detector mounting base and an intelligent low-frequency sounder. As a result, the fire alarm control panel can activate individual sounder bases or groups of sounders using the detector’s address, providing flexible emergency notification throughout the facility. In addition, the base utilizes System Sensor synchronization technology for coordinated operation with compatible notification appliances.

520 Hz Low-Frequency Notification

The B200S-LF-WH generates a 520 Hz square-wave tone, meeting the sleeping space notification requirements of NFPA 72. Consequently, it provides enhanced awakening effectiveness for occupants, including individuals with hearing impairments or those sleeping under the effects of medication or alcohol. Moreover, the base supports multiple tone patterns, including ANSI Temporal 3, ANSI Temporal 4, March Time, and Continuous tone, depending on the compatible fire alarm control panel.

Intelligent Addressable Operation

The B200S-LF-WH shares the same address as the compatible smoke detector while operating as a unique device type on the signaling line circuit. Therefore, fire alarm control panels can individually control each sounder base or activate multiple bases simultaneously. Furthermore, installers can configure tone pattern, volume level, and grouping through compatible system programming.

Easy Installation

The System Sensor B200S-LF-WH features a plug-in detector design with a pre-wired mounting plate and SEMS terminal screws for quick installation. As a result, installation time is reduced while maintaining secure wiring connections. Additionally, support for 12–24 AWG wiring provides flexibility across a wide variety of fire alarm installations.

Reliable Life Safety Performance

Manufactured by System Sensor, the B200S-LF-WH is designed for long-term reliability in mission-critical fire alarm systems. Consequently, it provides dependable low-frequency audible notification for hotels, apartments, dormitories, healthcare facilities, and other occupancies where sleeping area notification is required. Its integrated design reduces equipment costs while simplifying system installation and maintenance.
