System Sensor 2251B Photoelectric Smoke Detector

The System Sensor 2251B plug-in type smoke sensors combine a photoelectronic sensing chamber with addressable-analog communications. The sensors transmit an analog representation of smoke density over a communication line to a control panel. Rotary-decade switches are provided for setting the sensor’s address.

Features / Specifications

Voltage Range: 15 to 32 VDC

Standby Current: 300µA @ 24 VDC

Humidity Range: 10% to 93%

Temperature Range: 32°F to 120°F

All wiring must b e installed in compliance with the National Electrical Code

System Sensor recommends spacing sensors in compliance with NFPA 72. In low airflow applications with smooth ceilings, space sensors ar e 30 feet apart. Wh en using the 2251TMB as a heat detector in FM3210-compliant applications, space sensors a re 20 feet apart. For specific information regarding sensor spacing, placement, and special applications.

All wiring i s installed in compliance with the National Electrical Code, and applicable local codes. And any special requirements of the Authority Having Jurisdiction. System Sensor 2251B Improper connections will prevent a system from responding properly in the event of a fire.
