The Simplex Signal Expander for the 4002 Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) is an expansion module. It is used to increase the signaling capacity of the Simplex 4002 panel. This module is designed to add notification appliance circuits (NACs) to the 4002 panel. This allows for more extensive coverage and flexibility in fire alarm systems. The Simplex 4002 is a conventional control panel introduced by the Simplex Time Recorder Company. Featuring an expandable design with an initial configuration of 8 zones and 2 NACs​
