Siemens OCM-16 Output control module.

The Siemens OCM-16 Output Control Module is designed to provide precise and reliable control of external devices within Siemens fire alarm systems. This module allows the fire alarm control panel to activate or deactivate connected equipment based on system events. Therefore, it plays a key role in building automation and life safety integration.

Output Control Functionality

The Siemens OCM-16 allows direct control of devices such as relays, fans, doors, dampers, and notification appliances. As a result, the system can manage critical functions during an emergency. For example, it can shut down HVAC systems, release magnetic door holders, or activate additional signaling equipment.

Because the module supports multiple outputs, it offers a flexible system design. Technicians can use it to control several devices from a single point, which improves efficiency and reduces installation complexity.

Addressable System Integration

The OCM-16 connects directly to the Siemens addressable loop. Each output can be individually identified and monitored by the control panel. Therefore, operators can quickly locate active points and verify system status in real time.

In addition, addressable communication improves diagnostics. The system can report faults, wiring issues, or device failures immediately. As a result, maintenance teams can respond faster and reduce system downtime.

Reliable and Efficient Design

The Siemens OCM-16 is built for continuous operation in demanding environments. It delivers stable performance while using efficient electronic components. Moreover, its durable construction supports long-term reliability in commercial and industrial facilities.

Because of its compact design, the module fits easily inside control cabinets or remote enclosures. This flexibility simplifies system layout and helps optimize available space.

Easy Installation and Applications

Installers can easily integrate the Siemens OCM-16 into new systems or existing upgrades. It works well in a wide range of applications, including:

• Office buildings and commercial complexes

• Hospitals and healthcare facilities

• Schools and universities

• Data centers and industrial plants

• Public and government buildings
