Seamless Compatibility with Siemens Systems

This model integrates seamlessly with the Cerberus PRO and Desigo Fire Safety Series. The Siemens FDB293 Base Attachment Humid. enables stable communication between the detector and the control panel, ensuring accurate data transmission in challenging environmental conditions. System designers appreciate its reliable performance and simple installation process, especially in retrofit or upgrade projects.

Designed for High-Humidity Conditions

Constructed with moisture-resistant materials, the FDB293 includes sealing gaskets to help prevent condensation from reaching the device’s internal components. These features protect against corrosion and false alarms, which are common problems in humid spaces. Because of its robust construction, the base offers extended service life, even under continuous exposure to moisture.

Easy Installation and Maintenance

The unit supports both surface and flush mounting on standard electrical boxes. Its terminal blocks simplify wiring, saving time during installation. Thanks to its compact, low-profile shape, the base allows detectors to sit flush with the ceiling, maintaining a neat and professional appearance. Additionally, the base can be removed and reinstalled without damaging the wiring, making maintenance more efficient.

Code Compliance and Field-Proven Durability

The FDB293 meets UL and FM safety standards, ensuring compliance with building and fire codes. Installers trust it for use in critical environments where safety and durability cannot be compromised. Its sturdy design withstands daily wear and exposure without reducing signal integrity.
