Norton Rixson 990M Electromagnetic Door Holder

The Norton Rixson 990M is a wall-mounted electromagnetic door holder designed to hold fire and smoke barrier doors open during normal building operation. When power is interrupted by a fire alarm system, smoke detector, or power failure, the electromagnetic hold-open releases and allows the door closer to return the door to the closed position.

Its compact low-profile design makes the 990M especially useful where there is minimal clearance between the open door and adjacent wall. Concealed wiring and a total projection of approximately 1-13/16 inches provide a clean appearance for commercial and institutional installations.
