Mircom MIX-M500SA. Relay Control Module.

Mircom MIX-M500SA Relay Control Module

The Mircom MIX-M500SA Relay Control Module provides a reliable interface between a fire alarm control panel and external control equipment. Designed for use with Mircom’s addressable systems, this module allows the system to activate auxiliary devices such as HVAC controls, door releases, elevators, and notification appliances.

Its compact footprint and addressable design make it suitable for a wide range of fire alarm installations that require remote switching capabilities.

Flexible Control for Auxiliary Equipment

The MIX-M500SA is used to switch external circuits on or off as directed by the fire alarm control panel. It supports both normally open and normally closed contact configurations, providing flexibility in how auxiliary systems are managed during alarm or supervisory conditions.

Because it integrates directly with the addressable loop, it allows precise control and real-time feedback from remote equipment across the facility.

Seamless Integration with Mircom Addressable Panels

This relay control module communicates with Mircom’s addressable control panels, such as the FX-2000 and FX-4000 series. Each unit occupies a unique address on the signaling line circuit, enabling targeted control and clear system diagnostics. This feature is especially useful in complex environments like hospitals, schools, and commercial buildings.

Additionally, technicians can easily configure and monitor the device through the panel interface, reducing troubleshooting time.

Compact Design and Easy Mounting

The MIX-M500SA features a low-profile design and mounts easily in standard electrical boxes or inside control cabinets. It includes LED indicators that provide visual confirmation of relay activation and communication status. As a result, installers and maintenance personnel can verify the function quickly during inspections or testing.

Its efficient wiring layout also contributes to clean installations and minimizes the risk of wiring errors.

The Mircom MIX-M500SA Relay Control Module is a dependable and flexible solution for interfacing fire alarm systems with external control equipment. Its addressable functionality, ease of installation, and compatibility with Mircom’s intelligent systems make it an essential component for comprehensive fire protection strategies. Whether used to control doors, fans, or other building systems, the MIX-M500SA delivers safe and efficient automation when it matters most.
