Mircom MIX-4070 Short Circuit Isolator Module

The Mircom MIX-4070 Short Circuit Isolator Module protects compatible MGC fire alarm signaling line circuits by isolating short-circuit faults. It allows unaffected portions of the SLC communication loop to continue operating when a short occurs.

The module operates automatically, requires no device address, and restores the communication loop to normal operation after the short circuit is removed.

Short Circuit Isolation

The MIX-4070 isolates a faulty section of the SLC while helping the remaining devices continue operating. Its LED flashes during normal operation and illuminates steadily during a short-circuit condition, making the affected section easier to identify.

Compact Mounting Design

The Mircom MIX-4070 measures approximately 4.625 inches high × 4.25 inches wide × 1.125 inches deep. It typically mounts in a standard 4-inch square box and is also compatible with double-gang electrical boxes or the Mircom BB-400 surface-mount box.
