KAC SR-P(PC/ABS) Surface Mounting Box Red

The KAC SR-P (PC/ABS) Surface Mounting Box Red is a durable surface back box designed for mounting KAC manual call points and compatible fire alarm devices where recessed installation is not practical. Constructed from a rugged polycarbonate/acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (PC/ABS) blend, the KAC SR-P provides a secure mounting solution while maintaining the professional appearance and reliability required for commercial fire alarm installations. Therefore, it is an ideal choice for both new construction and retrofit fire protection projects.

KAC SR-P (PC/ABS) Function

The KAC SR-P is designed to provide a secure surface-mounted enclosure for compatible manual call points and alarm devices. As a result, installers can mount devices on concrete, masonry, or other solid surfaces without requiring recessed electrical boxes. In addition, the enclosure protects field wiring while simplifying installation in locations where flush mounting is not feasible.

Durable PC/ABS Construction

The enclosure is manufactured from a high-strength PC/ABS thermoplastic that combines excellent impact resistance with long-term durability. Consequently, the mounting box withstands demanding commercial environments while maintaining its structural integrity over years of service. Moreover, the material provides resistance to cracking, deformation, and everyday mechanical stress.

Surface Mount Installation

The KAC SR-P is engineered specifically for surface-mounted fire alarm installations. Therefore, it allows manual call points to be installed quickly on finished walls without cutting recesses or installing flush back boxes. Furthermore, the enclosure includes easily modified cable entry locations that simplify field wiring during installation.

Compatible with KAC Manual Call Points

The SR-P is designed for use with compatible KAC manual call points (MCPs) and related fire alarm activation devices. As a result, installers receive a factory-matched mounting solution that provides proper alignment, secure installation, and an attractive finished appearance. Additionally, the enclosure supports both new installations and replacement projects.

High-Visibility Red Finish

Finished in bright fire alarm red, the KAC SR-P complements compatible manual call points while maintaining high visibility throughout the protected facility. Consequently, emergency devices remain easy to locate during emergency situations. Moreover, the color matches standard fire alarm equipment for a consistent system appearance.
