Honeywell TC811A1014. Isolator Module.

The Honeywell TC811A1014 Isolator Module is designed to protect fire alarm systems by isolating short circuits within a signaling line circuit (SLC). This ensures that faults in one section do not compromise the entire loop, maintaining system integrity and reliability.

Key Features

• Fault Isolation: Detects and isolates short circuits, allowing unaffected areas to continue operating.

• Power Supply: Powered directly from the SLC loop; no external power required.

• LED Indicator: Integral LED blinks to indicate normal condition and illuminates steady when a short circuit is detected.

• Mounting: Base mounts on standard 4″ square by 2-1/8″ deep junction boxes.

• Compatibility: Suitable for use with Honeywell XLS series Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACPs) in CLIP or FlashScan® mode.

Specifications

• Normal Operating Voltage: 15 – 32 VDC

• Standby Current: 450 µA (not isolating)

• Maximum Current Draw: 17 mA (device in isolation)

• Temperature Range: 32°F to 120°F (0°C to 49°C)

• Humidity: 10% to 93% non-condensing

• Dimensions: 4-1/2″ H × 4″ W × 1/4″ D

Applications

Ideal for use in commercial and industrial fire alarm systems, the Honeywell TC811A1014 Isolator Module ensures that short circuits within a loop do not affect the overall system operation. It is particularly useful in large installations where maintaining system integrity is critical.
