Honeywell BEAM200. Beam Detector.

The Honeywell BEAM200 projected beam smoke detector delivers effective smoke detection for large, open indoor areas where traditional spot detectors may not provide adequate coverage. From initial operation, this detector monitors smoke levels across long distances to support early fire detection. Because wide spaces present unique challenges, the BEAM200 offers a practical and reliable solution for commercial and industrial fire alarm systems. It is commonly used in applications that require consistent performance and reduced maintenance.

Projected Beam Detection Technology
The BEAM200 uses projected beam technology to detect smoke across a clear line of sight between a transmitter and reflector. Therefore, it can monitor large areas with fewer devices. In addition, this detection method responds well to smoke buildup from smoldering or developing fires. Because of its long-range capability, the detector helps improve coverage while simplifying system layout.

Reliable Performance in Large Spaces
This beam detector performs effectively in areas with high ceilings and open layouts. As a result, it supports early detection in environments where heat and smoke may take longer to reach point detectors. Moreover, the BEAM200 helps reduce nuisance alarms caused by localized dust or minor disturbances. This reliability supports stable system operation over time.

Installation and Alignment
The Honeywell BEAM200 is designed for straightforward installation and alignment. Therefore, installers can set up the detector efficiently during new construction or system upgrades. In addition, its design supports easy maintenance and testing, which helps reduce service time and labor costs. This ease of use makes it suitable for large facilities with extensive coverage needs.

System Integration and Compatibility
The BEAM200 integrates smoothly with compatible Honeywell fire alarm control panels. As a result, it supports consistent communication and reliable alarm signaling. This compatibility allows system designers to include beam detection as part of a comprehensive fire protection strategy.

Common Applications
This projected beam smoke detector is ideal for warehouses, atriums, gymnasiums, aircraft hangars, and manufacturing facilities. It also works well in large retail spaces and convention centers. Becaus
