Hochiki RAI-LED Remote Alarm Indicator

The Hochiki RAI-LED Remote Alarm Indicator is a remote visual alarm annunciator designed for use with compatible Hochiki addressable and conventional fire detection systems. The Hochiki RAI-LED provides clear visual indication of alarm conditions when detectors are installed above ceilings, inside ducts, equipment rooms, or other concealed locations. Therefore, it helps maintenance personnel and emergency responders quickly identify alarm conditions without direct access to the detector itself.

Hochiki RAI-LED Remote Alarm Indicator Function

The Hochiki RAI-LED is designed to provide remote visual alarm indication for compatible smoke detectors, heat detectors, and sensor bases. As a result, alarm conditions can be identified from an accessible location. In addition, the device improves maintenance efficiency and simplifies troubleshooting procedures.

Clear Visual Alarm Notification

The RAI-LED features a highly visible red LED that illuminates when the connected detector enters an alarm condition. Consequently, technicians can quickly determine which detector has activated. Moreover, the visual indication helps reduce inspection time and improve emergency response.

Compatible with Addressable and Conventional Systems

The Hochiki RAI-LED is compatible with a wide range of Hochiki conventional detectors, analog addressable sensors, and detector bases. Therefore, it can be used across multiple fire alarm system configurations. Furthermore, compatibility with both conventional and addressable systems provides installation flexibility.

Designed for Concealed Detector Applications

This remote alarm indicator is particularly useful when detectors are installed above suspended ceilings, within HVAC systems, or in areas that are difficult to access. As a result, facility personnel can identify alarm conditions without entering restricted or concealed spaces. Additionally, the device supports code-compliant detector identification practices.

Compact and Professional Design

The RAI-LED mounts directly to a standard single-gang electrical box and features a low-profile appearance. Consequently, it provides a clean and professional installation while remaining highly visible. Moreover, the compact design minimizes wall space requirements.
