GENTEX 710TF. 120VAC Smoke Alarm with Integral Thermal.

Gentex 710TF 120VAC Smoke Alarm with Integral Thermal

The Gentex 710TF 120VAC Smoke Alarm with Integral Thermal offers dual detection capabilities for residential and commercial life safety systems. This AC-powered unit combines photoelectric smoke sensing with fixed temperature heat detection, delivering fast and accurate responses to a wide range of fire conditions. Its reliable design, integrated thermal sensor, and easy installation make it a trusted solution for single- and multi-family dwellings, hotels, and dormitories.

Because it combines smoke and heat sensing in one unit, the 710TF improves detection speed and reduces false alarms in challenging environments.

Dual Detection Technology for Enhanced Safety

The 710TF features a photoelectric sensor that quickly detects slow, smoldering fires by identifying smoke particles in the air. In addition, the built-in heat sensor activates when the ambient temperature reaches 135°F (57°C). This dual detection increases the unit’s reliability, especially in areas like kitchens or laundry rooms where smoke or steam may occur without fire.

By combining both sensing methods, the alarm ensures faster and more accurate alerts during different types of fire emergencies.

120VAC Operation with Interconnect Capabilities

Designed for hardwired systems, the 710TF operates on 120VAC and includes battery backup for continuous protection during power outages. It supports interconnection with up to 12 compatible Gentex alarms, allowing all connected units to sound simultaneously if one device is triggered. This networked response ensures that building occupants receive timely alerts no matter where they are located.

As a result, it provides comprehensive coverage in larger or multi-room installations.

Easy Installation and Low-Profile Design

The unit installs easily onto standard electrical junction boxes and comes with a mounting bracket and pre-stripped wiring. Its low-profile housing blends cleanly into most ceiling or wall surfaces, while the built-in test button allows for simple functionality checks. LED indicators provide clear visual status updates for power, alarm, and maintenance conditions.

Technicians appreciate the straightforward setup, and homeowners benefit from reliable, user-friendly protection.

The Gentex 710TF 120VAC Smoke Alarm with Integral Thermal combines advanced sensing technology, dual-mode detection, and easy installation into one dependable life safety device. Its hardwired operation, battery backup, and interconnect capabilities make it a smart choice for residential and light commercial settings. Whether used in individual units or interconnected systems, this alarm enhances occupant safety with both precision and convenience.
