Gamewell MMI-6SF Multi-Mod Six Zone Interface Module

Gamewell MMI-6SF Multi-Mod Six Zone Interface Module: Expandable and Efficient Control

The Gamewell MMI-6SF Multi-Mod Module is a six-zone interface designed to simplify and expand fire alarm system configurations. As part of the Gamewell-FCI E3 Series or S3 Series, this interface module allows connection to multiple initiating devices, enabling efficient monitoring and control.

Key Features

Six Independent Input Circuits
This module offers six Class B or three Class A initiating device circuits (IDCs), providing versatile input configurations. Consequently, it supports a wide range of detectors, pull stations, and other devices.

Compact Design with Mounting Flexibility
Its compact design saves panel space and fits easily into standard enclosures or backboxes. Installers can quickly secure it, whether in a cabinet or on a chassis-mounted rail.

LED Status Indicators
Each zone includes its own LED status indicator, which aids in troubleshooting and maintenance. These indicators clearly show alarm, trouble, or normal operation states.

Addressable via DIP Switches
The MMI-6SF supports address assignment through DIP switches, simplifying programming and field setup. Additionally, it integrates easily with the system loop without requiring special tools or software.

SLC Compatibility
This module connects directly to the Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) of compatible Gamewell control panels. As a result, it provides seamless communication and power sharing without additional wiring.

Application and Usage

The Gamewell MMI-6SF is ideal for retrofits, expansions, and multi-zone applications where centralized control is crucial. It supports up to six initiating device zones on a single address, reducing the need for multiple modules. Common uses include monitoring waterflow switches, tamper switches, or conventional pull stations.

Installation Tips

To ensure optimal performance, mount the MMI-6SF in a dry, clean environment within the fire alarm control cabinet or remote enclosure. Always terminate end-of-line resistors properly, and assign the device address before powering the system. Regular inspection of LED indicators will help maintain reliability.

Advantages

• Supports six Class B or three Class A initiating circuits

• Reduces equipment and wiring needs with multiple inputs per address

• Offers individual LED indicators for simplified diagnostics

• Integrates easily with Gamewell addressable control panels
