Fire-Lite SBB-3 Surface Back Box, 3-Gang

The Fire-Lite SBB-3 Surface Back Box, 3-Gang provides a secure and professional mounting solution for compatible Fire-Lite annunciators and modules. Designed for surface-mounted applications, this box is ideal when in-wall mounting is not feasible. Its 3-gang configuration offers flexibility for installations that require multiple devices in a single enclosure.

Thanks to its durable design and easy installation, the SBB-3 helps fire alarm professionals complete projects efficiently and to code.

Built for Surface-Mount Installations

The SBB-3 is specifically engineered for surface-mounted fire alarm equipment. It serves as a sturdy enclosure for annunciators, keypad displays, and system accessories that need to be wall-mounted externally. Because it eliminates the need to cut into drywall or masonry, it’s perfect for retrofit projects or installations where recessed boxes are not practical.

This back box ensures clean cable management and secures the internal components against accidental impact or tampering.

3-Gang Capacity for Flexible Use

With its 3-gang layout, the SBB-3 accommodates a variety of Fire-Lite components, including the ANN-80 LCD annunciator and other modules that require extra space. This larger footprint allows technicians to install multiple devices side by side, reducing wall clutter and simplifying wiring runs.

Additionally, its standard electrical box dimensions make it compatible with most industry-standard faceplates and trim kits.

Easy Installation and Clean Appearance

The Fire-Lite SBB-3 features pre-drilled mounting holes and ample interior space for managing wiring connections. Installers can quickly secure the box to the walls using standard hardware. Once mounted, devices attach cleanly and remain securely in place.

Its smooth finish and squared edges help maintain a neat, professional look that suits commercial, industrial, and institutional environments.

The Fire-Lite SBB-3 Surface Back Box, 3-Gang is a reliable and code-compliant solution for surface-mounted fire alarm equipment. With a versatile 3-gang design, solid construction, and compatibility with Fire-Lite modules, it simplifies installation while supporting long-term system performance. Whether used in a retrofit or a new build, this back box delivers flexibility and durability for demanding applications.
