Edwards GFD – Ground Fault Detection Module

The Edwards GFD Ground Fault Detection Module is a ground fault detection module designed to monitor power-limited fire alarm and communication circuits for unwanted grounding conditions. It continuously supervises up to two independent circuits, detecting when resistance to ground drops below acceptable levels and signaling a fault condition to the fire alarm system.

Engineered for use in life safety systems, the GFD module provides early identification of wiring faults, helping maintain system integrity and prevent potential failures. It features relay outputs for alarm and trouble signaling, along with visual LED indicators to identify the affected circuit.
