Edwards GCSVRF-SP Function

The Edwards GCSVRF-SP is engineered to provide synchronized audible and visual notification from a single ceiling-mounted appliance. As a result, building occupants receive clear emergency voice instructions together with highly visible LED signaling during fire alarm events. In addition, the appliance is ideal for voice evacuation systems requiring Spanish-language fire identification.

High-Fidelity Speaker Performance

The GCSVRF-SP incorporates a high-performance speaker designed to provide excellent speech intelligibility for emergency communication systems. Consequently, voice evacuation messages remain clear and understandable throughout the protected area. Moreover, the speaker supports both 25 VRMS and 70 VRMS audio systems with multiple field-selectable wattage taps for flexible system design.

Multi-Candela LED Strobe

The Genesis LED ceiling speaker strobe features a field-selectable LED strobe with multiple candela settings to accommodate various room sizes and code requirements. Therefore, installers can configure light output during installation without replacing the appliance. Furthermore, advanced LED technology provides ultra-low current consumption while delivering bright, dependable visual notification.

Spanish “FUEGO” Identification

The GCSVRF-SP features highly visible FUEGO lettering on the red housing for Spanish-language fire alarm applications. As a result, occupants can easily recognize the appliance as part of the building’s fire alarm notification system. Additionally, interchangeable Genesis covers allow future language or marking changes if facility requirements evolve.

Low-Profile Ceiling Design
