Edwards G4LFRF-HVM Horn Strobe Low Frequency

High-Performance Signaling with Edwards G4LFRF-HVM Horn Strobe Low Frequency

The Edwards G4LFRF-HVM Horn Strobe Low Frequency is a powerful and efficient notification appliance designed for sleeping areas in compliance with fire code requirements. It combines a low-frequency sounder with a bright strobe light to alert individuals, including those with hearing impairments, during emergencies. This device is especially effective in meeting NFPA 72 low-frequency sound requirements for sleeping spaces.

Low-Frequency Sound for Maximum Effectiveness

Operating at 520 Hz, the horn in the Edwards G4LFRF-HVM Horn Strobe Low Frequency produces a deep, attention-grabbing tone. Research shows that low-frequency alarms are more likely to awaken individuals, particularly those who are hard of hearing or under the influence of medication. As a result, this device significantly increases the chances of early evacuation during emergencies.

Visible Notification for ADA Compliance

In addition to its sounder, this unit features a high-intensity strobe that enhances visibility in smoky or dark environments. The synchronized strobe flashes at a rate that complies with ADA requirements, providing dependable visual alerts. This dual-function design ensures both audible and visual notification in one compact device.

Flexible Mounting and Voltage Options

The Edwards G4LFRF-HVM Horn Strobe Low Frequency supports wall mounting and is compatible with a wide range of backboxes. It also features a high-voltage (HVM) configuration, allowing it to operate on 120V AC systems. This makes it ideal for retrofitting older buildings or integrating into mixed-voltage installations.

Durable Construction and Simple Installation

Built with high-quality materials, this horn strobe is designed for long-lasting performance. It features field-selectable candela settings and tone options, making it easy to configure to specific project needs. Additionally, the universal mounting plate and plug-in design allow for fast, consistent installation across multiple units.
