Edwards EST G4AVRF Horn-Strobe, Red, “FIRE” Marking

The Edwards EST G4AVRF Horn-Strobe provides dependable audible and visual signaling in a wide range of fire alarm applications. With its bold red housing and clear “FIRE” marking, this device enhances awareness and supports rapid emergency response.

Key Features

High-Decibel Horn
This unit delivers a loud, piercing sound that ensures occupants can hear the alarm even in large or noisy environments. Its high output makes it especially effective in industrial and commercial settings.

Bright Visual Strobe
The integrated strobe emits a powerful flash that grabs attention immediately. Additionally, the strobe’s intensity complies with NFPA and ADA guidelines, improving visibility in hallways, open spaces, and areas with hearing-impaired individuals.

Distinctive “FIRE” Marking
Clearly labeled with “FIRE” on the front, the unit provides unmistakable visual confirmation of an active emergency alert. This feature supports fast recognition and action during critical moments.

Compact, Low-Profile Design
Despite its robust functionality, the G4AVRF maintains a compact, low-profile form. As a result, it blends into modern installations while still offering powerful signaling performance.

Application and Usage

Designed for indoor wall mounting, the G4AVRF is ideal for office buildings, educational campuses, hospitals, and warehouses. Because it combines both horn and strobe functions, it reduces the need for multiple devices and simplifies system planning.

Installation Tips

Mount the unit at a height that aligns with visibility requirements, typically 80 to 96 inches from the floor. Connect the horn-strobe to compatible notification appliance circuits (NACs) using standard wiring methods. For optimal effect, install units in strategic locations such as exits, corridors, and assembly areas.
