Edwards EGCAVRN. Ceiling Horn Strobe.

The Edwards EGCAVRN ceiling horn strobe provides dependable audible and visual notification for indoor fire alarm systems. From activation, it alerts occupants with a clear sound and bright strobe output. Because effective notification supports safe evacuation, this device plays an important role in life safety systems. It is commonly used in commercial and institutional buildings that require consistent and code-compliant fire alarm notification.

Audible Alert Performance
The EGCAVRN horn produces a clear and strong audible signal. Therefore, occupants can hear alarms even in busy indoor environments. In addition, the ceiling-mounted location helps distribute sound more evenly across open spaces. Because of this placement, audible coverage improves in corridors, rooms, and common areas.

Visual Strobe Notification
Along with audible alerts, this device includes a bright strobe for visual signaling. As a result, it improves awareness for occupants who rely on visual cues. Moreover, the strobe supports accessibility requirements and strengthens overall emergency communication. This combination of sound and light enhances occupant response during alarm events.

Ceiling-Mount Design
The ceiling-mount design allows clean and effective installation in many interior layouts. Additionally, it provides flexible placement in open areas and hallways. Because the device mounts overhead, it maintains visibility while preserving wall space for other equipment.

System Compatibility
The Edwards EGCAVRN ceiling horn strobe integrates easily with compatible Edwards fire alarm control panels. Therefore, installers can include it in new installations or system upgrades. This compatibility supports reliable operation across the notification circuit and simplifies system design.

Typical Applications
This ceiling horn strobe works well in offices, schools, healthcare facilities, and commercial buildings. It also performs reliably in corridors, lobbies, and open areas. Because it is designed for indoor use, it delivers consistent performance in controlled environments.
