Edwards 757-7A-CS Chime Strobe 15/75 Red

The Edwards 757-7A-CS is a red chime/strobe notification appliance designed to provide both audible and visual signaling in fire alarm and emergency communication systems. The Edwards 757-7A-CS combines a chime sounder with a 15/75 candela strobe, making it ideal for applications where a softer audible signal is preferred instead of a traditional horn. It is commonly used in healthcare facilities, offices, hotels, assisted living spaces, and other environments requiring controlled emergency notification.

Integrated Chime and Strobe Design

The 757-7A-CS combines audible chime notification and visual strobe signaling in one compact wall-mounted appliance. Consequently, installers can reduce device count while providing both sound and visual notification from a single unit. Moreover, the combined design simplifies wiring, mounting, and system layout.

15/75 Candela Visual Notification

The Edwards 757-7A-CS includes a 15/75 candela strobe designed for effective visual alerting in indoor applications. Therefore, it provides bright visual notification for corridors, patient rooms, office areas, and public spaces. Additionally, the strobe output helps support accessibility requirements when installed according to applicable codes and system design standards.

Red Housing for Fire Alarm Identification

The appliance features a red housing that clearly identifies it as part of a fire alarm or emergency signaling system. As a result, occupants, inspectors, and emergency personnel can easily recognize the device’s life safety function. Furthermore, the red finish supports traditional fire alarm notification appliance installations.

Soft Audible Chime Notification

The chime portion provides a more pleasant audible signal compared to standard horns. Consequently, it is well suited for environments where abrupt horn tones may be disruptive, such as hospitals, nursing homes, offices, and hospitality facilities. In addition, chime signaling can be used for coded alerts, staff notification, or private mode emergency response.

Wall-Mount Installation

The Edwards 757-7A-CS is designed for wall-mounted installation in indoor environments. Therefore, it can be installed in hallways, rooms, lobbies, corridors, and other protected spaces. Additionally, the compact design supports clean installation on compatible electrical back boxes.

Compatible Fire Alarm Systems

The Edwards 757-7A-CS is designed for use with compatible fire alarm notification appliance circuits and emergency signaling systems. It may be used with Edwards fire alarm control panels and other UL-listed fire alarm systems when installed according to listing requirements. Therefore, it provides flexible integration in new construction, system expansion, and retrofit applications.
