Bosch D273TH. Smoke/Heat Detector.

Dual-Sensor Detection for Enhanced Safety

The Bosch D273TH Smoke/Heat Detector combines photoelectric smoke sensing with a built-in 135°F (57°C) heat sensor. This dual-sensor design improves detection reliability by identifying both smoke particles and rapid temperature rises. As a result, it provides layered protection in a single unit, ensuring early warning in emergency situations.

Flexible Voltage and Wiring Options

This detector supports 10 VDC to 30 VDC operation, making it compatible with a wide range of fire alarm systems. It uses a four-wire configuration, allowing independent power and signal wiring. Therefore, installers can integrate it easily into commercial and residential panels without extensive rewiring.

Durable Construction and Simple Installation

The D273TH features high-impact, fire-retardant ABS plastic housing. It measures approximately 5 inches in diameter and 2 inches in height. The terminal block accommodates up to 12 AWG wiring and can be removed to simplify installation. Additionally, its compact and lightweight design makes it suitable for ceilings, walls, or panels where space is limited.

Advanced Sensitivity and Maintenance Features

The detector uses an infrared LED and silicon photodiode to sense smoke efficiently. A fine mesh screen reduces dust and insect intrusion, minimizing false alarms. It also offers visual LED indicators and magnet test capabilities, making inspection and maintenance fast and straightforward.

Ideal Applications

This detector is ideal for offices, schools, retail spaces, and industrial facilities. It works well in areas where both smoke and heat detection are essential. It suits both new installations and retrofit projects.

Trusted Bosch Quality

Bosch is a recognized leader in fire protection. The D273TH Smoke/Heat Detector provides reliable operation, code compliance, and easy system integration. Its dual-sensor technology ensures peace of mind for building managers, safety personnel, and occupants.
