Wheelock AS-24MCWH-FW Wall Mount, Audible Horn Strobe.

Cooper Wheelock AS-24MCWH-FW Wall Mount Audible Horn-Strobe

The Wheelock AS-24MCWH-FW is a compact, wall-mounted, low-current audible horn-strobe notification appliance designed for commercial, institutional, and industrial fire alarm systems. It combines a dependable horn with a high-intensity visual notification strobe in a single, code-compliant unit. The “FW” suffix denotes a white housing with FIRE marking — ideal for interior installations where visual design matters. This appliance supports 24 VDC systems and is part of Wheelock’s patented 2-wire AS Series with universal mounting features.

Key Features & Benefits

• Dual Audible & Visual Notification: Integrated horn and strobe provide both sound and visible alerts for life-safety signaling.

• Field-Selectable Strobe Intensity: Offers high-intensity multi-candela settings such as 135 cd and 185 cd, helping meet spacing and code requirements (field selectable).

• Selectable Horn Pattern: Choose between continuous tone or Temporal (Code-3) signaling per NFPA requirements.

• Multiple dBA Levels: Horn output features three selectable sound levels (e.g., 90 dBA, 95 dBA, 99 dBA) for adapting to different ambient noise environments.

• 2-Wire Operation: Simplifies installation by allowing both horn and strobe on a single pair of wires, reducing wiring complexity.

• Patent-Protected Universal Mounting Plate: Simplifies field wiring and reduces installation time.

• Synchronization Capable: Works with Wheelock sync modules or panels with built-in Wheelock sync protocol to synchronize both horn and strobe across devices.

• Fast Installation: Front-accessible IN/OUT screw terminals support #12-#18 AWG wiring.
