Visual Notification Performance

The SCWK provides field-selectable strobe settings of 15, 15/75, 30, 75, 95, 110, and 115 candela. This range allows installers to configure the visual output according to the notification requirements of the protected area.

The appliance supports automatic selection of 12- or 24-volt operation at the 15 and 15/75 candela settings. Its operating voltage range is 8 to 17.5 volts for 12V nominal systems and 16 to 33 volts for 24V nominal systems.

Weatherproof Construction

The SCWK is designed specifically for outdoor notification applications and operates from -40°F to 151°F (-40°C to 66°C). The appliance includes an outdoor back box for the standard weatherproof installation configuration.

Its rugged SpectrAlert Advance construction makes it suitable for outdoor, wet, dry, and environmentally demanding locations when installed according to manufacturer requirements.

Installation Information

The SCWK uses a plug-in design and universal mounting plate intended to simplify installation and reduce intrusion into the electrical back box. The platform incorporates an onboard shorting spring that allows installers to verify wiring continuity before installing the notification appliance.

The device supports approximately 12 to 18 AWG field wiring and is configured specifically for ceiling mounting.
