System Sensor DST1. 1 Foot Sampling Tube.

System Sensor DST1 1-Foot Sampling Tube

The System Sensor DST1 1-Foot Sampling Tube is an essential component for duct smoke detection in HVAC systems. Designed for ducts measuring up to one foot in width, this short sampling tube helps ensure that smoke detectors receive consistent airflow for reliable and early smoke detection.

This model works seamlessly with compatible System Sensor duct smoke detectors. Its compact size makes it ideal for smaller ducts or limited-space installations where longer tubes are not suitable.

Designed for Efficient Air Sampling

The DST1 sampling tube draws air from inside the duct and channels it into the smoke detector’s sensing chamber. It uses strategically spaced perforations to collect a representative air sample, helping the detector identify smoke particles before they spread further through the ventilation system.

Since proper airflow is crucial to detector performance, using the correct sampling tube length directly impacts system effectiveness. The DST1 ensures that air passes uniformly into the detector, supporting timely responses to potential fire conditions.

Durable Construction and Simple Installation

System Sensor manufactures the DST1 from rigid, corrosion-resistant materials. It resists damage from airflow pressure, vibration, and changes in temperature. As a result, it continues performing well even in demanding environments.

Technicians appreciate its quick and straightforward installation. The tube connects directly to compatible detector housings without modification. Additionally, it includes an end cap to prevent airflow from escaping and to maintain proper pressure differentials for accurate sampling.

Ideal for Compact Duct Applications

This tube is well-suited for locations such as office buildings, small retail units, and schools where duct sizes are typically smaller. Its compact design offers an efficient solution without sacrificing detection accuracy. When space or duct dimensions limit options, the DST1 offers a code-compliant choice that delivers consistent results.

The System Sensor DST1 1-Foot Sampling Tube provides a reliable and efficient way to sample airflow in compact HVAC duct systems. With durable construction, fast installation, and effective performance, it supports the accurate function of System Sensor smoke detectors. For professionals needing dependable sampling in small ducts, the DST1 offers both simplicity and reliability.
