System Sensor B200S-LF Intelligent Sounder Base

System Sensor B200S-LF Intelligent Sounder Base Low Frequency

The System Sensor B200S-LF Intelligent Sounder Base Low Frequency is a high-performance notification device designed to meet the latest fire code requirements for sleeping areas. This base integrates seamlessly with System Sensor detectors and delivers a 520 Hz square wave tone, which is the frequency mandated by NFPA 72 for waking occupants in residential or hospitality settings.

Reliable Compliance for Sleeping Areas

Unlike standard sounders, the B200S-LF emits a low-frequency sound proven to be more effective at waking individuals, especially those with hearing impairments or under the influence of sleep aids. It fully complies with UL 464 and NFPA 72 standards, making it ideal for use in dormitories, apartments, hotels, and healthcare facilities. When life safety is critical, this intelligent base ensures your system meets both performance and legal standards.

Intelligent Integration and Efficient Wiring

This device connects directly to the Signaling Line Circuit (SLC), eliminating the need for separate wiring. It supports full synchronization with compatible control panels and allows selectable output patterns such as Temporal 3 or Temporal 4, depending on the emergency type. Because it works in conjunction with addressable detectors, it simplifies installations and reduces overall cost.

Key Features

• 520 Hz low-frequency tone for improved waking effectiveness

• SLC-powered design requires no additional wiring

• Field-selectable tones and volume levels

• Compatible with System Sensor intelligent detectors

• Mounts to standard junction boxes for quick installation

• Tamper-resistant locking mechanism

Built for Modern Safety Systems

With its modern, low-profile design and intelligent functionality, the B200S-LF supports both new construction and retrofit applications. It fits aesthetically in most environments while delivering reliable performance and enhanced occupant protection.

The System Sensor B200S-LF Intelligent Sounder Base Low Frequency is an essential component for fire alarm systems where code compliance and effective notification are priorities. By combining low-frequency output with intelligent operation, it enhances life safety, especially in sleeping areas, while streamlining installation and maintenance.
