Simplex 59AV-WRF TrueAlert ES Addressable LED Horn Strobe

The Simplex 59AV-WRF TrueAlert ES Addressable LED Horn Strobe provides audible and visual fire alarm notification for compatible Simplex systems. This wall-mounted appliance combines an electronic horn with an energy-efficient LED strobe in a red housing with white FIRE lettering.

Unlike conventional notification appliances, the 59AV-WRF is individually addressable. It receives power, supervision, and control signals from a compatible Simplex fire alarm control unit through an IDNAC Signaling Line Circuit, providing enhanced monitoring and appliance control.

Addressable Horn and LED Strobe

The 59AV-WRF provides selectable 15, 30, and 75 candela LED strobe output. Strobe intensity can be programmed from the compatible fire alarm control unit or configured at the appliance.

Its addressable operation allows the system to supervise each appliance individually. TrueAlert device reports can identify the appliance point, custom label, device type, and selected candela setting, helping simplify system testing and maintenance.

Energy-Efficient LED Design

The Simplex 59AV-WRF uses LED strobe technology to reduce current requirements while maintaining effective visual notification. Compatible IDNAC circuits provide regulated 29 VDC, helping appliances maintain efficient operation during normal and battery-backup conditions.

The appliance also supports wiring supervision to each device. Class B installations can use T-tapped connections where permitted, while Class A applications use in/out wiring.

Compact Wall-Mount Design

The 59AV-WRF features a compact wall-mount configuration designed for commercial and institutional fire alarm applications. The complete model includes the red appliance cover with FIRE identification and the standard-range 15/30/75 cd electronics.

Simplex documentation lists the strobe to UL 1971 and the horn to UL 464, with corresponding ULC listings for applicable installations.
