Because it meets rigorous notification standards, the SET-177-CR-WP supports code-compliant performance in both commercial and industrial applications.

High-Candela Visual Alert with Clear Audio Output

This unit offers a 177 candela strobe, delivering bright flashes that remain visible in sunlight or low-visibility conditions. In addition, the integrated speaker produces clear voice messages and tones, helping occupants understand emergency instructions quickly.

Together, these features ensure that occupants receive both audible and visual alerts, critical for reaching individuals with different sensory needs or in areas with high ambient noise.

Designed for Harsh Outdoor Environments

The SET-177-CR-WP includes a weatherproof enclosure that protects the internal components from rain, dust, and temperature changes. Its rugged construction allows it to perform reliably in parking garages, exterior building walls, loading docks, and similar environments.

Moreover, its red housing with a clear lens makes it easily recognizable during emergencies. The device mounts securely to standard outdoor-rated back boxes, and it integrates with Siemens fire alarm systems to ensure consistent system behavior.

Versatile Applications Across Facility Types

This speaker strobe works well in warehouses, transportation terminals, stadiums, educational campuses, and healthcare facilities with outdoor zones. It simplifies system design by combining speaker and strobe functions into a single unit, which reduces the number of required devices per notification area.

Installers can configure the speaker for different tone and volume settings depending on system needs. In addition, the high candela rating supports visibility in open or obstructed outdoor spaces.
