Designed for FS-250 Control Panels, the two-wire, plug-in Siemens HFPO-11 Intelligent Smoke Detector Intelligent Smoke Detectors provide the most reliable detection system available with state-of-the-art microprocessor circuitry with an error check, detector self-diagnostics, and supervision programs. Besides, the Siemens HFPO-11 intelligent fire detector is compatible with the DPU field device programmer/tester unit, which is a compact, portable, menu-driven accessory for electronically programming and testing detectors, easily and reliably. The DPU eliminates the need for cumbersome, unreliable mechanical programming methods and reduces installation and service costs by electronically programming and testing the detector prior to installation. The Siemens HFPO-11 fire detector has a dust-resistant, field-cleanable photo-electric chamber, and micro-processor-based electronics with a low-profile plastic housing.
Although no specific spacings are set for the detectors used for a clean air application; if practical, as a guide or starting point for a detector installation layout. This spacing, however, is based on ideal conditions–smooth ceiling, no air movement, and no physical obstructions. In some applications, therefore, considerably less area comes protected adequately by each smoke detector. This is why it is mandatory to closely follow the installation drawings.
