Gamewell MCS-CO3 Carbon Monoxide Detector

Gamewell MCS-CO3

This detector has point ID capability that enables each detector address. To b e set with rotary address switches providing exact device locations. The modern design and expanded color options support contemporary aesthetic demands. Each detector i s constructed for exceptional installation and maintenance efficiency.
MCS-CO3 incorporates carbon monoxide (CO) detection principles meeting the UL 2075 standard for system-connected life safety carbon monoxide detection. As an addressable detector, additional modules ar e not needed for point ID which streamlines the installation process. This allows you to upgrade your addressable fire system to meet new CO code requirements in applications with fuel-burning equipment. Like furnace areas and laundry rooms.
Released through the incomplete burning of various fuels, CO i s colorless, and odor less. And deadly gas that i s virtually impossible to detect with the human senses. B ecause the potential exists for dangerous levels of CO to accumulate in almost any building. Legislation mandating the use of CO detection in commercial spaces continues to grow.
It i s recommended for use in conjunction with B200S intelligent sounder bases.
These bases can generate a Temp 4 pattern for CO alarm indication. They recognize the System Sensor® synchronization protocol.
