Edwards WGAWA Outdoor Horn ALERT White

The Edwards WGAWA Outdoor Rated Horn is a high-performance audible notification appliance designed for indoor and outdoor emergency communication and mass notification systems. As part of the Edwards Genesis LED Outdoor Series, the WGAWA features a powerful electronic horn housed in a durable white enclosure with ALERT marking, making it ideal for mass notification, emergency communication, and critical incident response applications. Therefore, it delivers dependable audible notification in harsh environmental conditions while supporting code-compliant emergency signaling.

Edwards WGAWA Function

The Edwards WGAWA is engineered to provide loud, intelligible audible notification during emergency situations. As a result, occupants receive immediate audible warning to evacuate or follow emergency instructions. In addition, the horn is compatible with standard 24-volt notification appliance circuits and integrates easily with emergency communication and mass notification systems.

High-Output Audible Notification

The WGAWA incorporates a high-efficiency piezoelectric horn capable of producing sound levels up to 97 dBA (UL 464) with field-selectable high and low output settings. Consequently, installers can optimize sound levels to match ambient noise conditions while meeting life safety and mass notification requirements. Moreover, the horn supports both Temporal 3 and continuous operating modes for fire alarm and emergency communication applications.

Outdoor-Rated Construction

The Edwards WGAWA is designed for reliable operation in demanding indoor and outdoor environments. As a result, the appliance features a weather-resistant enclosure rated NEMA 4X and IP67, providing excellent protection against rain, dust, moisture, and wash-down conditions. Additionally, it operates across a wide temperature range from -40°F to 151°F (-40°C to 66°C), making it suitable for harsh industrial and commercial environments.

White Housing with ALERT Marking

The WGAWA features a durable white housing with ALERT identification, making it well suited for mass notification and emergency communication systems where emergency messaging extends beyond traditional fire alarm signaling. Therefore, the appliance provides clear visual identification while maintaining a clean architectural appearance. Furthermore, interchangeable Genesis covers allow future marking changes when system requirements evolve.

Quick Installation and Flexible Configuration

The Genesis Outdoor Series utilizes a universal room-side wiring plate that simplifies installation and maintenance. Consequently, installers can complete wiring before attaching the appliance, reducing installation time and minimizing wiring errors. Field-selectable horn patterns and volume settings provide additional flexibility for a wide variety of applications.
