Cooper Wheelock HSWC. Ceiling Horn Strobe.

Cooper Wheelock HSWC Ceiling Horn Strobe

The Cooper Wheelock HSWC Ceiling Horn Strobe provides dependable audible and visual signaling for fire alarm and emergency communication systems. Designed for ceiling mounting, this device combines a high-intensity strobe with a loud horn to effectively alert occupants during fire or evacuation events.

Its low-profile design, flexible mounting options, and selectable settings make the HSWC a practical solution for both new installations and retrofit projects.

High-Performance Visual and Audible Notification

The HSWC delivers synchronized strobe flashes and clear audible tones that comply with NFPA 72 and ADA requirements. With multiple candela options, the strobe intensity can be adjusted to suit different room sizes and lighting conditions. Meanwhile, the horn emits a temporal or continuous tone to maximize occupant awareness.

This combination ensures the device reaches people with visual or hearing impairments while maintaining clarity in noisy environments such as lobbies, hallways, and classrooms.

Designed for Easy Ceiling Installation

Because the HSWC is built for ceiling use, it offers broader light dispersion and even coverage across open spaces. This is especially useful in large areas where wall-mounted strobes may leave gaps. The unit installs quickly to standard electrical boxes and supports wiring connections that simplify labor in the field.

Additionally, the HSWC’s compact, white housing blends into most ceilings while maintaining visibility for code compliance. This design improves both safety and aesthetics across various facility types.

Seamless Compatibility with Wheelock Systems

The HSWC works with Cooper Wheelock’s synchronization modules to ensure that multiple devices flash and sound in unison. Synchronized signals prevent visual confusion and comply with safety standards that require uniform notification during emergencies.

Thanks to its low current draw, the HSWC also supports longer circuit runs and increased device counts per NAC (Notification Appliance Circuit), which improves system efficiency.

The Cooper Wheelock HSWC Ceiling Horn Strobe delivers effective, compliant signaling for life safety systems. Its versatile design, adjustable settings, and reliable synchronization make it ideal for a wide range of commercial and institutional environments. For fire alarm systems that require both strong performance and clean ceiling integration, the HSWC offers a proven and professional solution.
