The Simplex 2099-9795 series addressable pull station employs an individually addressable module (IAM) to provide constant monitoring of the station’s status. Changes in status are communicated to the control panel across the MAPNET® communication lines.
The manual station IAM receives its power from the MAPNET communication lines. The addressable manual station is available in single or double action models, and either one or two stage operation. Both single and dual-address models are available.
The Simplex 2099-9795 single-action station requires a firm downward pull to break the plastic rod visible below the pull lever and actuate the switch to sound the alarm. The front of the station is hinge and must be open to reset the station and to replace the plastic rod.
To reset the single action station, a key unlocks and opens the station which then permits the handle to return to its normal position when the station is relocked. If a plastic rod is use, it may be replace in order to complete the reset process.
