Siemens PT-304 Portable Handset is a remote firefighters’ telephones are available for use with the emergency system. These field mount telephones and accessories are use in conjunction with the Telephone Master and Zone Card located within the MXLV system enclosure.
The system can be accomplish either by plugging a portable firefighters’ telephone into a remote jack or lifting the handset on a remote station. Either action will result in a signal being trigger at the main MXLV system enclosure. The system operator can then manually activate the communication signal between the connected telephone and Model TMM-1.
The system supports a minimum of five remote phones active simultaneously on a system without any degradation of the signal. The Siemens PT-304 Portable Handset are available for field connection to the emergency telephone system. Each phone consists of a rugged, high-impact plastic handset with a red coiled phone cord attached.
Model PT-304 includes a momentary spring-action, push-to-talk button mounted in the handset. This handset feature allows the user to depress the button to activate the mouthpiece when speaking, thus limiting background noise.
