In general, the Mircom MIX-3100 Intelligent photoelectric smoke sensor utilizes a unique optical sensing chamber that is design to sense smoke produced by a wide range of combustion sources. Also, the Mircom MIX-3100 comes equipped with a clear LED which flashes when the detector is poll and turns on steady when the detector goes into alarm.

Mircom’s Alpha Series Intelligent Addressable Detectors come designed to meet a wide range of applications. The detector’s address is set in its base providing a convenient and trouble-free maintenance procedure. The detectors mount into a selection of base styles to accommodate installation requirements.
